    XMP Files

Where do I go in CS3 to have it stop creating XMP files when processing RAW files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

If you are working with proprietary raw files, you don't have the choice to _NOT_ make .xmp files since metadata can _NOT_ be safely writting into the raw file. However, in the Camera Raw preferences to can choose to use the Camera Raw Database to store your settings instead of XMP, but this is NOT suggested if you need to move images to different computers since the settings will be stored only on the single local computer where the database is located.

Otherwise, you can consider converting your proprietary raw files to DNG where all metadata can be safely stored in the file and not in sidecar files.
