You bought a camera without researching whether it was supported by your software of choice? And you're not happy with the software supplied by the camera manufacturer?
Doesn't sound like a prudent choice, does it?
Three to four orderly releases of Adobe Camera Raw per year have been promised. Put pressure on Olympus to provide Adobe with the necessary data and hope that your camera is supported in a future version.
Oh, by the way, you are NOT addressing Adobe here in these user to user forums; but, even if you were, an arrogant post like yours wouldn't achieve much.
I am not attempting to be arrogant. And I like the Olympus E-Series. And Adobe's online support in addressing this matter was useless as well. Regardless, I am weary of waiting. All have a great day!
> "I have had my Olympus E-510 for over 2 months now, and I am getting weary of waiting for you to support this model with your Camera Raw"
It is unofficially supported in ACR 4.1, DNG Converter 4.1, and Lightroom 1.1. Try it.
That's ironic and hilarious! Thank you for that, Barry. :D
He's going to need to learn to read first.
Oh yeah, and he apparently (according to his sign-off aloha) won't be back to read your response anyway. He's "weary of waiting."
Serves him right! ;-)
Anyone who addresses a large corporation in the second person singular probably refers to themselves in the first person plural (multiple personalities and hubris make one disgusting cocktail).

He might argue that it's meant to be implicitly plural, but then it should have been something like Adobe developers or Dear Adobe Raw team for clarity ;-)
English all too often allows or leads to imprecision in pronouns and tenses (in fact, modern colloquial American English is turning into Japanese in that sense), even from relatively good writers.
This guy isn't a good writer. He's simply pompous and pontificating. His superfluous use of your shows that the most clearly. It's simply redundant, pointlessly formal, and hackneyed... ..as is the writer.
I have an Olympus E-510. Adobe DNG Converter 4.1 and Lightroom 1.1 both support RAW files from the E-510.
Ditto to support for E-510 with ACR 4.1 and LR 1.1!
