    CS3 with CS4

I have DW CS3 on my machine as a stand-along app, and I also have Creative Suite 3 Production Premium (aka CS3) on the machine.

I want to go to DW4.

Is there any possible problem with having DW4 on the same machine as Creative Suite Production Premium CS3?

If it's absolutely okay, then I guess uninstalling DW CS3 before installing DW CS4 is a good idea, correct?

Or can DW CS3 and DW CS4 be on the machine at the same time and, if so, is it better not to do the uninstall since I could lose some important Shared Components that Creative Suite Production Premium CS3 is using.

          No.

No. Leave CS3 installed, and Dreamweaver will automatically migrate all
your sites and extensions to CS4. In the case of extensions, the
Extension Manager gives you the choice of whether to migrate.

CS3 and CS4 are entirely independent of each other. Nothing is shared,
so you can uninstall CS3 once you have completed a successful migration.
