Assuming you have the correct versions of ACR downloaded?? the ACR for Photoshop and Elements are different downloads.
Pretty sure the Elements version must be manually loaded. I just did an update search and it only found updates for CS 3 products...and Camera Raw 4.3 is for both Photoshop CS3 and Elements 6.
Go to the Camera Raw product page:
And download either the 4.3 Camera Raw only or the DNG/Camera Raw update, download, unzip and install it in Program Files\Adobe\Elements 6.0\Plug-ins\File Formats
That link goes elsewhere.
Here's the ACR 4.3 page:
If there's a version 4.3 of the DNG Converter, Adobe is doing a pretty good job of hiding it from me. :/
Try this page
Adobe is certainly good at it (the phenomenal result of upgrading to the new forum software demonstrated their Internet savvyness).
The DNG converter is packaged together with ACR. Go to the Download page, but not to the Home, rather to Updates, select Camera Raw, and you can choose between ACR only or ACR + DNG converter.
Or to make it easier the New downloads section. No idea where I did get it from but I have it for a long time in my favorites and it provides all the new downloads. It is working in the Netherlands, Europe, hope it works in the US:
Thanks everyone. Solved the problem by copying the plug-in from the CS3 plug-ins folder, where it had installed correctly, to the PSE 6 plug-ins folder.
The 4.3 update has now disappeared completely from Adobe's website. All links lead to 4.2. Hope this isn't a sign that something's wrong.

Hope nothing is wrong; it looked fine to me yesterday as I was using it to process a large batch of theatre photos.
I don't understand
If I go to the main adobe page (showing United States right above and the ability to change (which I don't hence I'm in Europe) and in the menu above choose support, go to fly out menu and choose updates.
Then on top of page in the find product section choose Camera Raw - mac (or windows) hit go and it is there.
Why can I see this and you not, it puzzles me just like the links for the new downloads page that seems to work perfectly for me and not for others.
What has Adobe don to the site or what have I done (MacPro Intel 10.4.11 - Safari 3) ???
It's working fine for me too. Used it on 40 shots yesterday. As to the links, I don't understand either. I'm in Europe but I've never had any problem before. Every time I think I've got it, I end up here http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform=Windows, which no longer displays the 4.3 update.

Ramón, this appears to be country-dependent.
I just used the above link and took this screenshot minutes ago. The URL is identical to yours. (I also just tried it with the Opera browser, with exactly the same result).
I have used control+refresh (many times!) to force a bypass of any cache. I don't know if there is some other type of caching that I don't know about. But this has been going on for days, and affects several other people too.
I just tried other well-known links again, and got redirected to the following as before:
I also tried the Mac version at the following, with the same result (no 4.3, latest is 4.2):
Another note: mine says "Adobe Photoshop CS2 tryout", yours says "... CS3 ...".
Tried again. Same result as Barry. Here's what I see:
Must be country-dependent.
>Must be country-dependent.
Yes it is and it's also been reported. In the meantime, see http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bb6a869.3c055998
Thanks. Finally got yhe new DNG coverter from your link as well.

Who would have thought? :/
