I have a series of images, all the same BW image with different tints applied. I used Tiffen DFX filters to do this. When I view the TIF files in Bridge or ACR they are very high in luminance, as though I were viewing them as slides on a light table, but when they get to PS they are much darker, as though I were viewing a slide by holding it up to a window. Why ??? I don't get this one at all. The embedded working space is Adobe RGB while my PS working space is ProPhotoRGB. It doesn't matter whether I convert working spaces or not, the change in luminance is the same. I don't get this one. I haven't seen it happen before. Is DFX perhaps doing something to cause this ?
