Shouldn't the images from the P25 be .tif files?
Then it's not a raw file anymore.. Not really any use of listing Phase One as a supported camera then.. If I convert the jpeg from my cameraphone to tiff then that should be listed as supported as well? :-)
Peter, Without knowing much of the Phase One the early Canon Raw files had the .tif extensions as do other brands. Those files from 2001 can still be opened in the latest ACR and behave as Raw.
Phase One raw files end in ".TIF". They are not TIFF files, but just use that extension. They absolutely, 100%, are raw files.
Thanks for the replies.. Maybe I'm a bit dense here but it doesn't work.
Is the problem that you can't shoot tethered into CaptureOne (3.7) and then expect the captured files to be opened anywhere else?
Peter, as Thomas said, even with the .TIF extension they are indeed raw files. Ive never had any issues with either P25 or now P25+ flies opening in CR or LR.
Perhaps a bit more info would be helpful are you seeing any previews in Bridge or just a generic file icon? Have you tried purging the cache in Bridge? Any error messages popping up?
Ive never shot tethered so I suppose there could be something happening in C1 but it would seem unlikely that it would alter the original raw file.
