Me too - tried several times per day since it was released - always get the "Site temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance"
You just have to keep trying.
Adobe's web site management is nearly as bad as their project management.
I got around that by searching for Camera Raw at filesearching.com, and then downloaded Camera_Raw_4_4_1.zip directly from Adobe's hosting ftp servers..
i can't download camera raw. this popped up in my screen:
Adobe reader could not open camera_raw_4_4_1.zip because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damage (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasnt correctly decoded).
Looks like you were trying to open a zip archive with an Adobe application. Why?
You need to UNZIP (decompress) the zipped file (that's what the ".zip" extension means) then manually install it in the correct location as per the instructions on the downloads page. The decompressed Camera Raw plug-in is NOT meant to be opened. It's meant to be installed while Photoshop and Bridge are NOT running. If installed correctly (see the FAQs of this forum), Camera Raw will be working the next time you launch Photoshop and/or Bridge.
To decompress (unzip) the zipped archive, double-click on it. Once you extract it, follow the installation instructions to the letter.
If the file was indeed corrupted, trash it and download a fresh copy all over again.
Also, make sure that you are downloading the correct file. Trying to use the Macintosh version of the plug-in on a Windows box won't work, and vice-versa.
Hi, Im having the same problem. I download the camera raw 4.4.1 zip file for windows, and upon extraction, the file is corrupted.... I'vee downloaded it 5 different times and its always corrupted. Any Suggestions?
