What model camera file are you opening? Currently the camera style matching profiles are for Canon and Nikon only. The "Adobe Standard Beta 1" is for most camera models.
- the profile menu will only show profiles for your camera model.
- the name of your camera is NOT listed in the names shown in the popup menu
More details here:
Ok, but I can't see too the profiles I made with DNG Profile Editor. They are inside Camera Beta 1/Nikon D2X, I'm using a Nikon D2X and I can't see them in Adobe raw.
- Make sure you actually installed a profile (which has a .dcp extension) not a profile recipe (which has a .dcpr extension).
- Be sure to quit and restart Photoshop.
Thank you for your replies. I was using a Leica M8 DNG, when I tried a Canon camera RAW file it worked fine and showed a number of options for different profiles.
Thank you and best wishes
Thanks, it works, I was using a D300 photograph...
For Canon DSLRs there is Adobe Standard beta 1 and the Camera [STYLE] beta 1 profiles (where [STYLE] is the name of the Canon style being approximated).
There aren't any "Camera [STYLE] beta 1" profiles for the Leica M8. See here for more:
