    New Mac, exceeded number of permitted activations.

      I recently purchased a new macbook and did data-migration from my old macbook to my new. I believe this may have installed digital editions but it says I have never had adobe id. I created id and activated my new computer. Tonight I purchased 2 new ebooks on the new computer from the internet. I get this error when I attempt to download and used them.

      State: 4
      Class: 7
      Code: 1
      Message:

      Your Adobe software could not be activated.
      You have exceeded the number of permitted activations.
      Adobe DRM Activator error.
      Server Code: 14
      Fault location: 7
      Contact customer support.

      I have tried to unistall and reinstall digital editions--it is like the irs you can not get rid of it.
      Please help, my case #Case #0180623009.
      I should be able to view my new books as I purchased them on the new computer.
