1. Re: Knife tool does not always work
JETalmage Nov 24, 2008 11:52 AM (in response to Michael Brown12)You're singing my song, M.
It's amazing that this program has survived for two and a half decades without a decent, straightforward cutting tool. It has three cutting tools cluttering up its toolbox and they're all junk.
Reminds me of those cheezy toolkits that come under the seat of a new Japanese bike.

Skullmaker Nov 24, 2008 2:35 PM (in response to Michael Brown12)Yes Gary is right!
You have to pay more money to make it work!
Now, if you find something wrong with CS4 you will need to buy CS5!
Or you can decide when to stop. -

6. Re: Knife tool does not always work
Skullmaker Nov 26, 2008 10:49 AM (in response to Michael Brown12)I am glad to know that non of us could answered MGuilfoile's question. Not Layer Gary, Crying Wade or me (The whiner).
Sorry MGuilfoile, I am in the position of making Adobe and the "amazing" AI Team responsible for the crap of CS3.
Layer Gary and Crying Wade they want you to purchase CS4. (Maybe they are in love with Adobe or they work for Adobe)
The truth is that Adobe did not care to fix the critical bugs on CS3, and by that fact, there is not any assurance that Adobe will care to fix all the bugs that already come with CS4.
So the decision is yours.
The only solution I can tell you is either use CS2 to solve this problem or just try to accept that you are using a crapping version and you have to leave with the bug. I am sorry that your waste your money in CS3 version crap. -
