Jesseham-JAh5zI Dec 1, 2008 9:40 AM (in response to Michael_H._Phillips-25llKp)There are font caches that sometimes need to be cleaned. I don't know why CS4 wouldn't be affected though... To clean them, use FontExplorer. Clean your application caches and then the system cache. -

is once again pristine in all CS3 applications. The miscreant seems to have
been AdobeSysFnt08.lst. Interestingly, this file has not been re-created. I
wonder where it came from.

I have never ever seen this file any where ever. I would say it comes from a corrupt document. -

Well, I've re-opened documents that I had been working on when the problem
occurred and they're all fine. So it will have to remain a mystery.
