Transparency and anti-aliasing in a PNG file

      Hello,

I recently switched from Windows to Mac and am having an issue with transparency and anti-aliasing in PNG files. I doubt it's a platform issue, but does anyone know why I'm getting such different results? Here are the details:

To see the image go here:

When saving an image in PNG format, in Windows I would:

      1. File > Save for Web and Devices
      2. Select PNG-24 and select the Transparency check box.

This would give me the results your can see in example #2. (anti-aliasing and transparency throughout the image - button and shadow below the button). This is the result I want.

When I do the same thing on Mac, the transparency and anti-aliasing do not work as before. I get the results in example #1. The transparency only works for the shadow, not the button, and the image is not anti-aliased).

I"m working on an iMac with Adobe CS3 and the document colour mode is RGB. In Illustrator > Preferences > General, the "Anti-aliased Artwork" option is selected.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
