    { margin:0; }

      I'm new to DW8 (and new to HTML stuff) and with some help (from Murray Ace and others) I've was able to figure out how to get certain text to be closer together BUT now I'm trying to create a new page where the text is closer together but it doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to reduce the space between two new lines by using a menu versus modifying the code (since I really know nothing about code)?

      Here is the code (without the { margin:0; }) added in:

      <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" " http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
      <html xmlns=" http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
      <head>
      <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
      <title>Untitled Document</title>
      <style type="text/css">
      <!--

      .style2 {font-family: "Times New Roman", Times, serif; font-size: 24px; }
      .style3 {font-family: "Times New Roman", Times, serif; font-size: 16px; }
      .style4 {font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 24px; }
      .style5 {font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; }

      -->
      </style>
      </head>

      <body>
      <table width="200" border="1">
      <tr>
      <td><p class="style2">test top</p>
      <p class="style3">test bottom </p></td>

      </tr>
      </table>
      <p> </p>
      <table width="200" border="1">
      <tr>
      <td height="69"><p class="style4">test top2 </p>
      <p class="style5">test bottom2 </p></td>
      </tr>
      </table>
      <p> </p>
      </body>
      </html>

          Create a new CSS rule by clicking on the "+" on the margin of a sheet of
          paper icon at the bottom of the CSS panel. Make this new rule a redefined
          tag, and you can select either to do it on this page only or on an external
          stylesheet.

          When you select the Redefined tag radio button, you should then enter the
          tag in the field beside - you will redefine the <p> tag, so enter a 'p'
          without the quotes in the field, and click OK.

          Now select the BOX category, and enter "0" (that's zero) in the margin field
          (with the same for all checkbox enabled).

          Click OK, and you're done. All <p> tags will now be immediately adjacent
          with no margin in between.

          You REALLY need to go through the DW Tutorials - and these too....
