I am using IE7 myself and when I go to htt://www.donshimoda.co.uk/downloads.htm and click one of the links to
download an MP3 the only thing that happens is on the bottom left hand side of the browser it says downloading but it does not appear to download. Perhaps is downloads to one of the IE7 temp files or something? but it does not download as IE7 usually does with wiindow that appears and asks the location you would like to download to.
Maybe I need to set "Perimeterd" in Dreamweaver but I am not very good with that.
