    Upgrading from Cs3 to Cs4

    Fish_Stalker Level 1
      Hello,
I am upgrading to CS4 from the CS3 design premium, and was wondering how to get rid of all the CS3 programs with out deleting all my extensions in Dreamweaver, all my components is Flash and so on. It seems as if all the programs don't actually have an unistaller in the design premium. Should I just throw them in the trash... I don't think so, but I'm not sure. if any of you have any ideas I would love to hear them.
      Thanks for your time.

Install CS4 before you remove CS3. When you verify that all site defs, all
extensions, and all other goodies have migrated successfully, then you can
          remove CS3.

No, definitely not. To uninstall Design Premium CS3 on a Mac go to
Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers. Double-click Add or Remove
Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium. Be prepared for a long wait.

Do not drag the programs to the trash. There are database files where Adobe products keep track of what is installed. If you drag the program to the trash our installers will still believe the program is installed. Please use the uninstaller.

Just go ahead and instal CS4, it will install to a new folder anyway.
Once you are sure that the new version has picked up all your site files,
extensions (you have to enable them in the new version), you can go ahead
                and delete CS3.

PS I would also make a backup of all the site definitions before doing
                anyway too :-)
