    Skinning button states

I hope someone can help me.

      The situation:
I am trying to skin a button using different graphical skins produced with Photoshop. The images representing the different states are transparent pngs and they are not all the same size. The button should indeed be larger on "mouse over" and on "down" then on the other states ("up" and "disabled"). However, when I skin the button in flex, the size of my button is fixed after the "up" state. My "over" state graphics is thus resized to fit the size of the "up" state.

      My question is:
Can I skin a button where each state is using a different size image or must all my images be the same size?
If I can do this, then how?

      Thanks so much!
