I've noticed that Adobe AIR seems to have a set framerate of
some sort for HTML rendering. On the most simple of pages with a
something like 12fps where in other webkit-based browsers such as
Safari and Chrome, the animation is as smooth as you could want it.
Same applies with scrolling and anything else that moves in the AIR
environment. This gives applications a sense of sluggishness.
Has anybody else noticed this? And is there anyway to
increase this framerate lock (if that's what it is)?
It worked. Excellent. I googled
"nativeWindow.stage.frameRate" and a couple of variations but
nothing really comes up. Where is this property documented? Any
good object references you (or anyone else) knows of?
