I have a Windows XP system that I have had multiple problems with and have not been able to deactivate Adobe like I should. So, I am at the point where if I do not deactivate I will have used all my activations and will not be able to activate online. While not a huge problem, I would like to make life easier if I can.
I can on occasion get into the PC using safe mode with networking so I thought I could deactivate but alas, I can not get the Flexnet Licensing service to start in safe mode.
My question, if I can get into the PC in safe mode is there any way to deactivate the copy on the PC before I end up re-installing the O/S?
If you blow out your computer and reinstall the OS on it and activate again, you should not be counted against when you activate your Adobe product. If you physically replace your hard drive, that is another story. If that is the case, call customer support about your plight and they should grant you an extra activation.
