I have CS3 on a single PC that is also used for testing, and I regularly re-image it from scratch. So long as I keep de-activating CS3 before wiping the hard disk, how many times will I be able to re-activate CS3 on the same PC (same OS version)? I've read about a 20-cycle limit for CS3 activation/de-activation between 2 different PCs, but what happens if this cycling is performed on the same PC/same version OS/same hardware? (note that I am wiping the disk and assume that I have to cycle activation on the same PC, and the activation will not persist through re-imaging, even though it is touted to do so. Thanks!
I currently have CS2 and want to install CS4 on the same computer. I'm considering my usual 4 yr "Format C" and have a clean install for 4. Do I need to deactivate 2 before I do that? I don't not want to reinstall 2, only 4.
