    adobe install

I am receiving the following error message when trying to install adobe reader regular version ----- the instruction at "0x7c911f52" referenced memory at "0x000cdf101". the memory could not be read. Click ok to terminate, click cancel to debug. I have a dell 4600c with xp sp2, 1024 ram, and a dell 922 printer. I downloaded the professional version for a 30 day trial period with no problems at all. Before I did I went to control panel and deleted all references to Adobe, went to prefetch and deleted everything, went to run, %temp% deleted all files, went to temp deleted all files, went to run, regedit and deleted all references to adobe reader. my system was clean when trying all downloads, only pro would download. regular adobe reader still would not download, kept throwing above error with this window first ---- C:\docume~1\owner\locals~\Temp\sgc10_rdr80_dlm_en_us.aom. why can't adobe reader regular version be downloaded?

      Thanks
      Dale
