Spell Checking

Is there a spell checker available in Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.0?

Unfortunately, there isn't. Designer 7.1 doesn't have that feature either.



I can say that we've been working on this much-desired feature and it
may show-up in a future release but I can't make any promises.

I usually create the PDF, view the finished product, select all text and copy and paste it into Word. Thankfully Word does check spelling and will highlight any errors which you can then go back into adobe and fix manually.

I'm sorry to say that Ferne's tip is about as good as it gets for spell checking in Designer 7.1 or earlier.



You could also write the text in Microsoft Word first, then paste it into a field in Designer.
