    VPS Hosting Plans

    Level 7
My host is offering VPS hosting and I'm wondering if anyone has had any
      problem with VPS hosting?

This is good compromise between a shared host account and a dedicated
server. Be sure you ask your host what resources are allocated to each site
and how many sites they allow on a VPS. A VPS with a couple hundred hi
demand sites on it will end up being no better or worse off than a shared
host account. In most cases, with reputable hosts, a VPS will give you far
more capacity that you will have on a shard account, and in many cases you
will be allowed to install software that would not be possible on a shared
            account.

              OK, thanks for the advice.
One problem I'm having with this is how does one ask what resources are
allocated and specifically what is a high demand site as it relates to
this? In other words, one high -traffic site is another's average site.

I think the company I work with will be able to answer my questions; if
I have any more, I will certainly be back. Thanks
