    Independent text styles

      Could someone advise me how I go about defining a text style with different hyperlink properties than the general page style. I am trying to make certain text with a hyperlink have different font colours, rollover properties etc to the rest of the page.

      Many thanks

          Your link would normally be in a container, a <div> or table cell.

          Create a css id for that container. Below I have named it
          'differentLinkStyle' but you can name it anything.

          If the link is in a <div> - give the <div> the id 'differentLinkStyle'
          as below:

          <div id="differentLinkStyle"><a href="#">Link One</a></div>

          If the link is in a table cell - give the table cell the id
          'differentLinkStyle' as below:

          <td id="differentLinkStyle"><a href="#">Link One</a></td>

          Then create the css to style the link:

          #differentLinkStyle a {
          color: red;
          font-size: 20px;
          font-weight: bold;
          font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
          text-decoration: none;
          }

          #differentLinkStyle a:hover {
          color: blue;
          }

            Thank you so much. That was perfect. I've been trying to do this for ages.
