unfortunately I do not know the answer to your question, but I was wondering if you could describe how did you use web service API in .net application.
I was never using LC services with another applications. I was always using Workspace and based on your experience how "hard" is it to integrate LC and .net...
This may be an issue with the attachment type. Since .Net 2.0 doesn't support DIME attachments, the data may be returned but the .Net application can't handle it.
You can force the attachment type by adding a blob definition to the service URL.
GeneratePDFServiceService svc = new GeneratePDFServiceService();
svc.Url += "?blob=base64";
Thanks very much, for such a fast response and, your example worked perfectly :)
I found the webservice very easy to intergrate into my application. Once I had the server running all I had to do was add a web reference. (there are some instructions here - http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/d9w023sx(VS.80).aspx )
