Re: Secret key API in an Ajax Adobe AIR app?

    Level 7
thanks Jason - yes it does return an authentication token after the user
authorizes the application. The shared secret is really just a way for the
server to recognize the program using the API. It is used to sign each
transaction between the server and the client through the API calls. By giving
out the shared secret, I would be giving anyone access to disguise themselves
as our client program. So if they do something wrong with it, our key would be
revoked, and our client program would no longer work.
