UPS Maxicode on a Zebra printer

I'm currently having a problem with using UPS Maxicodes in Central Pro.

This is our setup: Adobe Output Designer 5.6 + Central Output Pro Server 5.6 on a Windows system that is connected to a Zebra label printer.

This is an example of the MaxiCode data that is passed in our datafile to populate the label:

      ^FIELD MAXICODE
      [)>E0196NW10LU5200681Z6640527237UPSN1699472851/11NZONAIND.PSASSARI

This is the value of the scanned maxicode:
      LU5200610019681Z0000000517UPSN0000000211/11NZONAIND.PSASSARI[)>0196

      This is what UPS expects:
      [)>0196NW10LU5200681Z6640527237UPSN1699472851/11NZONAIND.PSASSARI

As you can see, the actual scanned value of the barcode doesn't match what we expected it to be.

Can someone help us with this? Do we have to provide the maxicode in a different format in the data-file? Do we have to change something in the template?
