    Ftp sticks with 8,000 records

    SanTorez
We would like to programically update 7 domains weekly with about a total of 15,000 records.
A – DreamWeaver CS3 keeps getting stuck when processing these records
B – How can we run a script or batch file to upload these weekly records

      Your help would be appreciated

Is a "record" an html page, a database record, or what? Do you mean you want
to upload 15,000 html pages every week?

Hello and thank you for your question. each domain has
            1 Mdb file
and the balance of the records to be uploaded are made up of, .CFM / .HTM / .XML / .XSL files

Domain A & Domain B have approximately 13,500 records each
Domain C has about 8,000 records
The other domains have about 1,000 records each

            Regards

That still doesn't make any sense.

Each domain has 1 database (Mdb) file, this database holds records.

.CFM and .HTM and .XML and .XSL files are not records, they are files,
they don't (normally) get stored in databases as records. You use FTP to
              upload files.

If you are having problems uploading so many files at once with
Dreamweaver, then use another FTP client that is threaded, in other
words can upload more than one file at a time.

                Thanks for your question.
A - every Friday we upload one database for each domain
B - we may also upload new CFM / .HTM / ..XML / .XSL pages for the quantities as noted.

We have been using WSFTP server and WSFTP professional, but these programs also get stuck uploading our files with a script and now we are trying to use Dreamweaver.

Any suggestions so that we can have an easy uploading system?
                Thanks

Dreamweaver isn't a heavy duty FTP client, so all you do is try other
                  FTP clients and servers.

Thank you for your suggestions, we have downloaded a Ipswitch Ftp server to try and hopefully this may solve our problems.
