Aligning vertical lists with varying row heights

I'm writing up a comparison app and I want to have vertical lists (columns) of products (with many rows of data) that are side by side. I'm fairly new to Flex so I don't really know which path to take to accomplish this. I've messed around with the Flex Store Demo ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/samples/flex_store/) and modified it to get it to display the data I want, but I don't have the knowledge to get it to align the varying rows heights properly.
I'm really just looking for someone with more experience to point me in the right direction so I don't have to run down a bunch of dead ends before I find the right solution ('cause, ya know, the client wants this done in 2 weeks).

      thanks for any help,
