Enlarge stage size to full screen-and components

    rafa@mediatech Level 1
      Hi:
I have several director projects that run videos that I canverted to SWF using Camtasia. I then drag these into director and created exe files. My client want to be able to make the video full screen. How can I make a full screen button that will affect the contents of the exe as well?
I found this in the forrums
      http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?forumid=11&catid=187&threadid =1292144&highlight_key=y&keyword1=stage
It has a great link to openspark's website, and this seems to be what I need, but I cant figure out how to use those. Any ideas?

      Rafael.

          Got it!
I am using on my start movie script
          on prepareMovie
          (the stage).rect = (the desktopRectList)[1]
          (the stage).drawRect = (the desktopRectList)[1]
          end

Are there any known issue with using this?

          Rafael.

            Hi Rafael,

You would normally be weary about performance when stretching the stage.
I don't think it's as much of an issue on new computers but as with
everything, you should test to ensure playback is OK. Resizing a window
gives good results if you're using vector shapes or SWFs. Images don't
look too bad. However, Director text does not scale well. So, if you
don't use text members, the visual quality may be fine. Otherwise, you
have to make your own judgment call.

            regards

              Hi Dean:
              Thanks for replying.
It is a fairly simple project. It only consists of a few buttons that link to the sections that present the videos. When the user scales it, it pixelates the buttons (because the are graphics), but I made a "return to normal size" button that brings everything back into place.
              I actually added the:
              (the stage).rect = (the desktopRectList)[1]
              (the stage).drawRect = (the desktopRectList)[1]
to a "on mouseUp me" action, that way the user controls the re-size.

              Thanks Dean.
              Rafael.
