    Verifying datasources

      Hi, everyone.
I didn't write anything for a while. I have an interesting situation here and not sure what causes it and what exactly is the problem.

I have a datasource setup with
      JDBC URL: jdbc:macromedia:oracle://xxxxxx:1659;ServiceName=xxxxxx;instancename=orac1
      Driver class: macromedia.jdbc.MacromediaDriver

When I'm trying to verify it, it gives me the following error message:

"Connection verification failed for data source: advice_user_jdbc_macr
      []java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][Oracle JDBC Driver]null
The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][Oracle JDBC Driver]null"

From what I read online, it seems that my jdbc drivers are out of date. So, I got the latest drivers from Macromedia (Adobe), and the same problem persists. When I'm trying to access a coldfusion page which has a db call, I get the following error message: "[Macromedia][Oracle JDBC Driver]null".

What's interesting in this situation is that sometimes I'm able to verify my datasource and the website works without any problems, and then all of a sudden I'm getting the same error message.

Any suggestions or options what might be causing it and how to solve this problem?

      Thanks in advance.
