    Video doesn't display?

    ss-1
Hi. I create a simple page & put an apDiv box on the page. I then put a small swf file in it. Everything looks good & I even test it out in "Preview in Expolorer & Firefox". Video plays great. Only thing is when I go to the live URL nothing apears...Video isn't there ? I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. I appreciate any assistance. See page code below -

          > <script src="../../Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js"

url to the uploaded page please, so i can see if:
The Scripts folder has been uploaded
          The path above is correct.

As a guess- your site is define to the wrong folder levels.

              <script src="../../Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js"

the "../../Scripts/ means go Up two folder levels from present location.

The page is one folder level down from the public root.

The local site folder in dreamweaver for this site should be the one that
CONTAINS this site's "homepage" index file.

If the remote site folder requires files to go into a subfolder such as www
or public_html or htdocs or similar, put that folder path into the "host
directory" line of the remote site info.

Then, delete the flash from the page, and insert it again.
And- upload the Scripts folder that's in the root of the local site folder.

I put the video file in the root & tried again. No change.I also then tried removing the code <script src="../../Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js" but no change.

I'm not a programmer so I may not understand what your saying completly.

                  let me try again:

I am quite sure the site definition for this site is defined to the wrong
folder level. The path to the Scripts folder will not come out right until
                  that is FIXED.

                  Please do this:
Open a new blank html file using File->New
                  -->do not save it<--
type some text in the page, select it, and use the "browse to file" folder
icon in the Property Inspector to make a link to this site's "homepage"
                  index file.
View code of the page, and copy that code. Paste into a reply.

Then: Go to dw menu->Site->Manage Sites
Select this site from list on left, click Edit button.
                  Click ADVANCED tab
                  Click Local Info
Find the box for "local site folder location"
click into it, select all, and copy

paste that into your reply also.

                    OK

                    file:///I|/Web Related Stuff/Steve Macromedia/MM Website-Options/index.html

                    Local root folder:
                    I:\Web Related Stuff\Steve Macromedia\

Also. It is weird because when you go into my website you can see the swf control bar that is suposed to display when you mouse over the video area (move mouse over the Lower left corner) But the video doesn't play. If I just start the swf file by itself the video plays fine.

                        > MM Website-Options

Define the local site folder to that.
                        It contains the site's "homepage"

now see if the local and remote folder levels are lined up=
Expand the Files Panel so both the local and remote show.

The site's homepage file should be in the toplevel folder, not in a
subfolder. The local and remote sides should be mirror images.
