1. Re: LR 1.3.1 Keyword Bug
WinstonInBoise-bcPume Dec 15, 2007 8:14 AM (in response to jgregson)I think it is a bug because it doesn't produce what you picked.
Separately, I have no idea why keyword entry is case sensitive. Since the Find function isn't case sensitive, there is no use for case sensitive keywords.

Ian Lyons Dec 15, 2007 8:38 AM (in response to jgregson)You might wnat to recheck whether keywords are case sensitive or not. They aren't anymore on the Mac.
Keywords entered via the Painter tool are definitely not case sensitive. -

jgregson Dec 15, 2007 9:14 AM (in response to jgregson)To be clearer, the behavior occurs when I import from a CF card and specify the keyword on the import panel. If I enter it in the Keywords side panel, it works ok.
Also, I'm on Windows XP.

4. Re: LR 1.3.1 Keyword Bug
(Eric_Morin) Jan 3, 2008 8:25 AM (in response to jgregson)on LR 1.2 in Vista this is occuring as well. Keyword tags typed by "Keywording" in the right menu are case sensitive.
If 'pets' exists as a keyword and 'Pets' is typed... the selection will show 'pets' but if 'Pets' is used, then a new parent level keyword is created. Very frustrating.
Also, it would be nice if the synonym keywords were tagged to the metadata automatically. -
