I am getting this same error. I am using Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 on a Windows 2000 laptop.
Please help. thnak you.
I am having the same problem. I was using Photoshop Album 2.0 and got the "(internal error: data not found)" message no matter how I try to load additional photos (camera, memory card, even through my hard drive). I removed Ver. 2.0, upgraded to Ver. 3.0 and the problem continues. I am using Windows XP and have been previously with no problem. I can access previous photos, but CANNOT ADD ANY NEW PHOTOS. Help!!

Is this happening with all your catalogs?
Please try with new catalog.
Try using latest version of MDAC.
Sorry but I don't know how to change catalogs and my Help function can't open my browser for some reason. No other program has this problem. I'm just using Internet Explorer 6.0.
Also, I don't know what you mean by MDAC. Can use explain please?
I just realized, you are using Photoshop Album not the starter edition.
Please post your question in the Album section. I'll be off for about a
week, but be able help you at that time.
Sorry for the delay.
MDAC : Microsoft Data Access Components
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 contains core Data Access components such as the Microsoft SQL Server OLE DB provider and ODBC driver. This redistributable installer for the MDAC 2.8 release installs the same Data Access components as Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
I am getting the same error (see print screen here):
and I get it with both Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 and Photoshop Album Starter Edition V3.2 and I cannot add any new photos to either.
Did a Microsoft update clobber something?
did you happen to try to run the apps at the same time at any point?
This also might have caused the problem. Have you tried reinstalling the
I would start with 2.0, reboot, make sure nothing from 2.0 is running...
and then install 3.0. You don't need 3.2 unless you are running Vista as
