shows a comparison list of SE2 and PSA 2 full retail product, but it is not specific for audio files.
In PSA 2 (not Starter Edition) an audio file would be Imported by doing a Get Photos from Files and Folders, then selecting an audio file that is a supported format (MP3 or WAV). There is not a separate command for adding/importing of audio files.
So I suggest that you try this process on the Starter Edition.
Yes, you can import the audio file (mp3 and wav) in starter edition.
The process to import the supported audio file (MP3 and WAV) in Starter Edition is same as PSA2.
AOL is my provider; however Yahoo! is my default email client. I have Adobe Starter 2.0: In "Email" "Preferences" "Client" Yahoo! doesn't show as a choice. How do I make Yahoo! my preferred client for Adobe emails...
Is there any way to copy a picture from the Starter Edition to a file?
Also, when I try to down load a picture from Photoshop to my camera, I get this message: "can't find file" Does anyone have words of wisdom for me?
>Is there any way to copy a picture from the Starter Edition to a file?
A photo is
inside the Starter Edition; the photo is in a file and then the Starter Edition catalog contains information about the photo. When you select a photo in the Photo Well, you can look at its
which include the name of the Windows folder where the photo file resides.
- Which command did you use to import your photo information into the PSA Starter Edition catalog?
- Suggest that you explain why you are trying to down load a picture from Photoshop to your camera. Also suggest that you post your camera make and model plus your Windows operating system.
I can't get the starter edition to unlock with the registration code.
The unlock bar never initializes. I have XP Pro and in administrator mode. But notheing works. Any sugeestions .
You should post this as a new topic - it'll be buried here.

I would like to know where Album II stores the Caption and Tag information so that I can Include that Folder in my backup procedure.
This is really a new topic and you should really post it as such. But, I'll answer anyway ...
There is a file My Catalog.PSA which is somewhere in your area of Documents and Settings.
I have 2.0 starter edition and an HP photosmart 735 camera when I try to get the photos the program freezes have to do ctrl, alt ,del any suggestions?
This is really a new topic ...
Try holding down CTRL when you strat the program. This will initiate a catalog recover. Then try importing again from the camera.
HI PAT,YOU HAVE TO TYPE THE CODE IN.YOU CANT COPY AND PASTE IT.ALSO IT IS CASE SENSITIVE SO MAKE SURE YOU TYPE IT EXACTLY AS IT IS IN YOUR EMAIL.
I moved photos from "My Pictures" to Adobe Photo Starter Edition 2.0, but they are not there. Where would I look to find them? (shame on me) I did not copy them, I moved them so they are lost. Please help me.
When you say "moved", what exactly did you do?
PSA SE does not keep your pictures somewhere, it just catalogs what you have. So, importing them simply makes thumbnail sand entries in its database [catalog].
If you deleted the original images, go look in the Recycle Bin - you can probably recover them.
I usually find lost photos by doing a Start/Search/All Files & Folders and looking for either *.jpg *.gif or IM0*.* That usually lets me know where I can find them. I display them as thumbnails so I can see them, then, I make a folder to move them all to, so that I can then get them back to the right place. Good Luck!!!
Did you ever receive an answer to your questions? I had the same ones Hal firstname.lastname@example.org
