PSA SE has no built in backup facility.
The key file to save is the catalog - My Catalog.PSA [somewhere in Docs&Settings - a hidden folder]. Obviously you know where your image files are and they need saving too.
There har serveral PSA files in Photoshop Album 3.0. 2 small files and 1 large file. Do i need to have backup of all 3 files?
The only file you should need to save is My Catalog.PSA. If there is more than one copy, look at the dates. Chances are, the one you need is the largest.
My photos are also "lost", but I believe they're in one of these "My Catalog.psa" files. How do you bring up a catalog file in Photoshop Starter Ed. 2.0?
The "SE" versions of PSA keep their catalog in a fixed place. I don't know exactly where that is for SE 2.
BTW, you do understand that your images are not in the catalog? It just holds references to the image files.
