PSA SE has no CD burning capabilities. The paid-for versions [PSA 2, PSE 3, 4] do.
You can select the images to burn in SE and just drag them into your regular CD burning program. That will make a copy on CD, but maybe that's not what you want.
Recently, there is an update for PSA SE 3.0 on Windows XP which provides CD burning from SE. To get the update (on Windows XP), go for Help -> Check for Updates and follow the instructions to install it. Once the update is successfull, you will see 'Burn to CD' in File menu in PSA SE. Select the images to burn and go for 'Burn to CD' in File menu to burn image and videos onto the CD.
Does this update provide any other additional functionality?
No other functionality apart from Burn to CD seems to be there in the update 3.0.1 till now.
can someone explain to me how to download my pictures onto a cd now that they are in my Adobe photo album 3.0?
My husband has to remove everything from our pc & start all over again due to the 16 bit he chose when he shoulda chose 32 bit.

My e-mail addy is
Anyones help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!
Thank You So Much!!!!!
Is it necessary to burn them from PSA? I actually prefer to use a third
party burning software.
That's another way.. but if u already have them in PSA SE updated version, just select your pics and go to File> Burn to CD. That'll let u burn your pics directly to the CD.
After a hard drive crash over a year ago when I lost all my photos, I have just been storing them on the memory sticks for the camera. Yesterday (3/9/06) I got brave and loaded them all onto the computer. I got an update message for PSA SE, and updated to 3.0. I have most of them tagged, but now I want to burn them to a CD, so I don't lose all of these, also.
My question is this: Why do I not have the 'Burn to CD' option under the file menu? Is there another way to do this besides dragging hundreds of photos to the CD burner??
> Why do I not have the 'Burn to CD' option under the file menu?
Because you have not down loaded th elatest update to PSA SE, which added this capability.
Thanks! I figured that with getting the update yesterday I had the latest update!
(I used to be computer literate, like way back in the 80's!!) :)
You need to do "Help -> Check for Updates".
Hi, my name is Robert Sobisz. I am using PS SE 2 and 3, but I find that I can't transfer photos from SE 2 to SE 3. Should I uninstall SE 2 (hoping I won't lose any pictures) to fix the problem ?
Second problem - how do I burn my photos onto a CD. When I called Adobe, I was told that it can be done with SE 3, but there is no provision in the program. Can you help ?
Apparently you need the latest update to SE 3.
I have the "Burn to CD" option available on my application, however when i attempt to use it, it tells me that i have missing photos and should reconnect them. so when i let the system do the search, nothing could be found. What am i doing wrong?? I really want to save pics to a CD. And when I even attempt to email or share, I get the same messages and it will not continue..PLEASE HELP!!!
forgot to add the error message: "Cannot continue with your action. It requires at least one connected file."
This is saying that the image files are not where PSA SE 3 thinks they are. Have you moved/deleted any files?
yes- photos that were either not clear or ones that I did not want. Is there anyway to get around this?
I even get the msg on photos I haven't even deleted. Is there a way to uncatalog them---would this do anything????
My photos are all in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 - How do I transfer them to a CD?
We have HP Memories Disc Creator - Our photos are in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 - How do we transfer the images to a CD???
You should really have started a new topic.
There is a burn command on the File menu. If it's not there, got to Help and Check for Updates.
Hi , I can't find the Burn command on the file menu of my photoshop 3.0 or the "check for updates" option in the help menu either to tell me how to transfer teh images form my catalog to a cd
Please tell me how to transfer some images from my photoshop catalog on to a CD
You can always just use you normal CD burning program. Just drag the images from PSA SE into it.
How do I burn only 1 or 2 pictures at a time to a CD and than pick more and add to the same CD? Once burned 1 or 2 I can not add any more............message put in blank CD. ??
PSA SE always closes a CD when it's finished, so there is no option to add more.
An open CD is very, very vulnerable to damage.
Why would you want to do this anyway?
