If you have received photos in Email as an attachment (say .JPG file) then you can first save them to the hard disk either by right click "Copy" and then paste to the desired location or use the "Save as..." option. Then you can import these files to Photoshop Album using the Get Photos --> From Files and Folders toolbar option.
In case you have got photos embedded in the HTML email content then you should save these to disk using the right click --> save as option.
In case of photos as an attachment, you can drop perform drap and drop of photos from the email to Photoshop Album photowell. This works fine for me.
hope this solves your problem. Let me know if you still not able to import photos to Photoshop Album.
Thanks, I'll give that a try. I'll let you know if I have any issues.
OFTEN, when I want to send photos via e-mail, Adope Photoshop Album 2.0 chooses the WRONG e-mail program, even though I have chosen my default preferences and saved them!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have attempted to open a jpeg or tif photo saved to file from email on several occasions and each time I get a "failure to import" error message indicating that the file is corrupt or is not supported. The photos were emailed to me from a professional print shop owner who I trust. What is the problem and the fix. Thx!!
I responded to your other posting.
