How do I 'visit the conference'??
Can you please outline exactly what you've done. You transferred photos from the camera using PSA SE - then what?
Downloading pictures from camera
I downloaded photos from my camera.....not sure which program I used.....I THINK it is Adobe Photoshp starter edition 3.0.
But I dont know where those photos are.
When I search them....they all come up under a file name that I used. But then they are in a place called Search Results (of course).
However ...with all my other photos (downloaded months ago)...under that same file name, there are only 3 photos transferred to it.
At some point this morning, I was able to click and drag and drop into the file where I want it.
My hope was to subdivide about 99 pictures into 4-5 different folders. I ran into problems when I was trying to set up new folders with different names.
I think, maybe, I have downloaded at different times using different programs. then different programs would not speak to each othere!??!
Things pop up and I follow thru.....now today....after 3-4 hrs messing with this I recognize that there are 3 different systems in my terminal: Dell's, Adobe and Corel.
Can you follow all of this?
I really appreciate hearing from someone.....
Thanks in advance for your efforts.
You do seem to have gotten yourself in a bit of a pickle ...
If the image files are all showing up when you do a Search, then the situation should be easy enough to recover. Do the Search again. The open another Windows Explorer/My Computer and use that to create the folders that you want. Then drag the files from Search Results into the new folders as you want.
Alternatively, you could get to know PSA SE and it would free you from worrying much about folders ...
Thanks again for your reply. I will try to follow your directions.
Can you tell me what PSA SE is and how I get to know it and use it.

Photoshop Album Starter Edition - the software covered by this forum. A good read through the help files would be a start ...
I have just attempted to follow your directions. I dont have Window Explorer. I only have Windows Media Player, Windows Messager and Movie Maker.
> I dont have Window Explorer
Yes you do. Maybe it isn't always given an entry in the Start menu. Either open My Computer [which is the same thing really] and hit "E" while holding down the Start key [a useful shortcut].
I do not wish to be impolite, but you would probably benefit from some sharpening of your basic Windows knowledge. There is a myth that anyone can use WIndows with no training/reading. You do need to have a certain baseline of knowledge. There are zillions of good books available.
I am sure yur right. I just have terrible difficulty with instructions manuals. I am spoiled from working in an environment where we could call IT guys for all complications.
I have tried the E & start thing and it just returns me to my inbox.
Anyway with your prior instructions.....in a very cumbersome way....I have managed to organize my photos.
I am trying again this morning to see whether I can download more pictures.
I am attempting to use Adobe PSA downloading instructions. I have connected the camera - it says "initializing" but i get an error message saying "USB device not recognized".
How is that possible when it worked 2 days ago?
This is the kind of problem that it seems no amunt of reading manuals can help as it is not related to my specific situation.
Can you help again??
I am sorry, but I don't know what the USB thing is about.
I just downloaded Photoshop 3.2.
Under, get pictures, it will not recognize my camera.
What do I need to do to get pictures from my camera.
Does you camera appear as a "drive" in Windows Explorer [My Computer]?
What camera do you have?
I also have the same issue as Daniel. Previously, I had an earlier version and had no problems transferring pictures from our kodak Easy Share v570. With the 3.2 version it states "no device found". I also have the kodak Easy Share software which automatically begins transferring once I plug the camera into the computer. I tried best I know how to disable and choose Adobe but am unable. I am very comfortable with Adobe photoshop and have a difficult time navigating through the Kodak software plus Adobe software is superior when sharing pictures through e-mails and slideshows. Please help? Linda
