PSA isn't doing it, it's the Canon TWAIN drive. Uninstall the Canon software and it'll be fine.
Thanks Colin, but before I installed the Canon Twain driver Windows 2k couldn't find a driver for my camera. So where do I get the correct driver from?

Are you sure you need one at all?
Yes I think so. With the Canon driver uninstalled, I only get "USB Dual-Mode Camera" as an option in "1. Get Photos From". And that doesn't work with my camera for some reason.
I am running Windows 2000 and had the canon driver. Note the had. I then downloaded the Starter edition of Photoalbum and it automatically detected my camera as a removal drive. So you don't need the driver for it to work.
My suggestion is for you to uninstall the driver first and then Photoalbum, then reboot.
After which you reinstall your photoalbum and it should work.
Try this and let us know if it works.
