I have been pleased with my PS Album SE 3. I am thinking of buying the latest edition of PS abum 3/4. Can anyone tell me exactly what I would gain? Would I have to uninstall the SE edition? One for Colin Walls I think,
Stanley G. Clare
First off, there is no PSA 3 or 4. The "final" version of PSA was version 2. The other upgrade path is to Photoshop Elements [4 now, 5 very son]. These are all compatible with what you have now.
It's hard to encapsulate what you gain with each. With Elements you get very powerful image editing facilities. You get more orgainizing options.
Adobe posoition their products something like this:
PSA SE 3 - absolute beginners and inexperienced amateurs
PSE - more experienced amateurs
PS CS - very demanding amateurs and pros
I also am having a tough time getting it to "unlock" when I register. I also am fustrated because I cant seem to get an answer. Were you able to get an unlock code emailed to you? I have tried 4 times and still not unlock code. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
Nope. I think it may have something to do with how my computer is set up. Yahoo and HP seem to have been inserted between the computer and me. I tried turning off the fire wall to no avail. Occasionally a saved image will open in it
I just took the hint and decided I didn't need it and my life is to short to blow it on this foolishness.
I had a similar problem with Microsoft Office. But I think they will want money. Too bad for Billy Gates.
Should you find an answer, I'd be very grateful, if you let me know.
Thanks for the tip. It worked for me. / jdh
I have a similar problem. It seems to let me register but I receive nother from Adobe. I was able to register for this forum so my email seems to allow it through.
I have PSA SE3 and am thinking about upgrading to PSE - question: will all he 'album' information, catagorizations, etc., migrate in tact?
Thanks in advance.
> will all he 'album' information, catagorizations, etc., migrate in tact?
Yes, it will be converted.
