You cannot move the pictures using PSA SE. You have to do it outside with Windows Explorer.
Ok ... how do I do that!
Just open My Computer. Then open My Pictures and you can drag all the folders of images to a shared folder. Hold down CTRL while you do the drag and drop [or use a right-click drag and select "Copy" when you let go].
Thank you very much! I got it!!! You were a big help ... thanks again!
i have photos in adobe photshop album, starter.
i need them moved into My Pictures
I cannot find then on the hard drive.
many are attachments from emails, view in album starter.
i need them in a more workable accessable storage space.
This should really be a new topic.
Photos are not "in" PSA SE - it only catalogs what is on your hard drive.
Right Click on any photo in Starter Edition, and select Show Properties at the bottom of the list. In the bottom of the Properties window is the file location for that particular image. You could then use Windows to navigate to that loaction and move it to where you want.
Please note the if you move an image file in Windows, it will become "disconnected" from Starter Edition. This means that starter Edition still thinks it's where it was, and doesn't knwo where you moved it. To fix this problem selct File>Reconnect all Missing Files...
Hope that helps
