You can report this problem as bug at http://www.adobe.com/misc/bugreport.html.
Adobe guys, monitor it they'll look into it to solve it.
My old computer died and we just got a new laptop with Vista pre-installed. My favortie Adobe Album 2.0 isn't supported by Vista !
Do I have to throw away my favorite photo filing/slideshow software?
Well, you don't have to throw it away. You can keep it on your bookshelf and remember the good old days.
You could certainly use Photoshop Album Starter Edition which is reported above to mostly work on Vista, as well as upgrading to the latest version of Photoshop Elements.
We got a new computer with Vista. The old one was XP. Had photoshop Album 3.2 on the XP with thousands of photos "tagged" by subject. We installed PSA 3.2 on the new Vista computer. Now how do we transfer the "tags" over. One article said to duplicate the path to the photos from the old computer. Unfortunately, Vista won't allow me to name a directory as "Documents and Settings". We are about to panic - please help! Thanks i advance.
