You should be able to print from software. What actually happens when you go for printing images from the software? Does it gives any error message?
When I tey and print, the photo paper go straight through the printer. It gives an error message, stating that there is no paper in the feeder, when in fact there is photo paper in it.
It seems to me that your printer is not installed properly. Please see:
1. if you could print a test page from your printer preferences.
2. You can also try printing from some other application.
If you are not able to print from the printing preferences or other application then it is printer driver problem. You may need to re-install the printer driver again.
I am able to print other applications from my printer. I just can't print Adobe photoshop 2.0 starter edition. Is there another free program that would allow me to edit and print photos from my Lexmark printer?
Seems like the preferences of your application are corrupt. Please do following steps:-<br /><br />1. Close Starter Edition<br />2. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe<br />3. Delete folder named 'Photoshop Album'<br />4. Launch Starter Edition again.<br /><br />Now try to print again. This may solve your problem.
Once I went into Documents and Settings, the next option I had was ALL Users, once I clicked on that, the only options I had were: Desktop
I did not see Application Data/Adobe.
Ques. # 2
Also, you said if I found it to delete Photoshop Album, but doing that won't it erase the photos I have already stored in that program?
Do not delete anything from All Users. When you go to Documents and Settings, you will see a folder with the name that you use to log in into the system. Let me know if you are seeing this folder.
That is correct. I do see the name I use to login. What next?
1. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe <br />where <username> will be replaced by your log in name.<br /><br />For example, if I login to my system using the name "vibha". I will be able to access the preferences by typing "C:\Documents and Settings\vibha\Application Data\Adobe" in the address bar in the Windows Explorer.<br /><br />2. Delete folder named 'Photoshop Album' from this location<br /> <br />3. Launch Starter Edition again.<br />Let us know if this works.
