Sorry, I have already figured out, how to register.
Simply, I have had to disable ALL security programs on my PC, including Windows XP system firewall.
After that the registration process has succeeded, althugh I got an "error message", showing that the registration web page doesn't exist.
Anyway, now everything works just fine.
I think this is a system spesific problem. Also seen somewhere in other discussion. Pls report this problem to Adobe.
I get error
Cannot find 'http://www.onlineregister.com/powerregister/webview/pages/adb2/chamak_thx/?FNAM=Peter&CT RY=US'. Make sure the path or Internet address is correct.
I disabled all firewall and norton - still errors.
Cannot register my photoshop Album Starter Edition
I am using free software Adobe photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0
now i cannot even view my pictures in it
Each time i attempt to register it cannot allow me to register
I too cannot register version 3.2. I get a screen promising an unlock code shortly but it never comes. Meanwhile the number of permitted accesses counts down towards zero. No doubt I shall be locked out when it does! Any ideas?
I have solved it by re-entering my email address on the registration screen (using cut and paste from my address book). Although it appeared to be correct before, it has now gone through and an unlock code has arrived in my email.
Perhaps you should try this Alfred. Good luck!

If it's any help the thumbs.5.cache (at least in Windows XP) should be in:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Catalog Folders\My PSE5 Catalog
where My PSE5 Catalog is whatever your new PSE5 Catalog is called. It's a hidden sample folder so you need to enable seeing hidden files and folders to see it. Not sure about the tn.4.cache as a recent discussion here indicated that it's from an older version of Elements (PSE3) and PSE5 shouldn't have one. Renaming wouldn't help and might give problems. If you can't find the thumbs.5.cache it sounds like PSE5 is having trouble building it for some reason and I think I'd be contacting Adobe Tech Support.
