I seem to recall that you have to check an option in Prefs for that.
Thank you for your answer, but I don't understand what you mean.
Can you please explain more what I have do do.
Under Edit/Preferences, is there a setting?
Otherwise, was there not an option box to check when you made the slideshow?
I just installed Photoshop Album Starter 3.2 and I find that when I upload the slide show to my web page, it doesn't run as a slide show, just a regular .pdf document. What can I do to get the slide show to run on my web site? It works as a slide show on my computer. It worked just fine with the 3.0 version after uploading.
That is because the PDF plug-in to the Web browser does not work the same as Adobe Reader. Visitors to your Web site need to be instructed to download and view.
Personally, I would prefer to put something more-Web friendly in place. Programs like Jalbum [free] give good results.
Thanks Colin for your advice and help. I tried the Jalbum, but it doesn't have the self-run feature for the slide show that I like. If and until the newest version of Photoshop Album Starter 3.2 reintegrates this feature, I will go back to the 3.0 version. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. Thanks again for such a prompt response.
P.S. I wasn't seeing captions either and now they're back with the return to 3.0!
Thank you for your answer, but I didn't find under Edit/Preferences any settings. Also I didn't find an option box when I made the slideshow.
I have downloaded Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 and used the captions feature. It works really well, but when I print the photos, the captions don't show up. How do I get the photos to print with the captions on them?
Apparently Photoshop Album 3.2 doesn't allow captions on the slide show? I can't get hold of anyone at Adobe. Do I really have to find a copy of 3.0 to get this feature?
What do you mean 3.0? This is actually just a free version. The latest full
version is actually 5.02
I am having trouble with no captions in the SlideShow in Photoshop Album 3.2 . The help document from http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopalbum/starter.html will not download. I am guessing that the document is password protected.
So I bought and installed Photoshop Elements 7.0 in order to get
1. A slide show that works (It does)
2. A means to save the tags/keywords in the photo, not some database.
But the thumbnail generation process is driving me to distraction. (It takes forever and occurs every time Elements is started.) I suspect that my 15,000 photos needs to be organized differently for Elements.
I am guessing that captions in the slide show is hopeless in 3.2. But can anyone steer me to a valid help document.
