From 3.0 directors? Do you mean directly from PSA 3.0?
They should do that anyway.
Greg has a new computer Jim. His old computer has PSA 3.0 and he has downloaded PSA 3.2 on his new computer. He wants to transfer his tags to the new computer. He may or may not use a different drive letter on the new computer. Is it humanly possible to do this.
See my other post. It's not really made to be very flexible, but I think I
MIGHT have a workaround for you. Otherwise, I will have to ask around. I
know it isn't designed to do it... but that doesn't mean it can't.
Sorry which other post were you referring to?
You can copy the catalog to the new computer and copy the images as well. Once that is done, the images will be shown missing in the catalog. Reconnect the images and you have both the tags and the images.
You will have to create exactly the same file directory structure and use the exact same user name. The album files are in a folder under your account labeled "Application Data/Adobe/Photoshop Album". Then copy the photos to the same folder as on your old computer and the album files to that structure just like they were on your old computer. By the way, that means same structure all the way down. You need to be logged on as an administrator on both PCs to do this.
If you do not use the exact same structure and user name, you will lose all the links and will have to reconnect each photo, one at a time.
