Google "Acer Dreamweaver" and you'll come up with the answer.
Apparently, there's a problem with Acer security, and a compatibility
patch for Dreamweaver is available.

yeah i tripped accross a post on another forum the other day about the Acer eDataSecurity Management Service and Dreamweaver. Uninstalling it and rebooting cured the problem.
I encountered the same problem on my Acer Desktop (Aspire M3641).
It was not Dreamweaver or Windows Vista (Home Premium; 32-bit) that was at fault, but the eData Security management. You need a patch. Look for it here: http://www.egistec.com/oem-acer001/program-update.html
It cleared the problem up completely!!
