Can someone help out? This is very frustrating...
It all happened when I installed AIR 1.1. Now nothing seems to be working.
I installed the latest: AIRSDKIntegrationKit, and flash9-en_US_9_0_3_Update for Windows. But no go.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
In addition to checking that the file is in the correct location, you might double-check its contents. Packaging the application up as an .air file might help; the packaging step produces more specific error messages about any problems found.
What should I be looking for in the contents? I am trying to package it ( from Flash). That's when I get the error. Should I try another way?
Here is the first two lines from the descriptor file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?>
<application xmlns=" http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/1.0">
Shouldn't the application be 1.1?
Okay. I changed the descriptor file with still no luck.
I keep getting the same error. The only things I can think of that I have changed was: updating AIR to 1.1 and updating Java. But I doubt Java has anything to do with this.
Thanks in advance,
Getting a bit frustrated. I followed all the instructions from here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AIR/1.1/devappsflash/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d118666ade46-7ff1 .html
Even cut-and-pasted the descriptor file from that page. Changed the file to match my project. Still get the same error. Could someone please help out??
It was a name of a directory in the file path. It had a " #" ( a space and a pound) in it. Once I changed the directory to something else; it exported just fine.
