Back when the 486 was a fast processor, Photoshop had a cool feature that scrolled the window when a lasso selection tool was dragged outside the window boundary. Today's processors and graphics adaptors have turned this into something that serves no useful purpose, because the scrolling has become so fast it's unusable. But the code is still in the product.
How about a way to slow down the autoscroll so that it's useful? Something in Preferences that would say "auto scroll speed = xxx pixels per second" where the user can input xxx.
