The documentation says that the Image object can load files
at run time including jpg, gif, png, and swf files. I have no
problems with the first three, but I'm confused about the fourth.
When I try to load a swf file I get an error:
Error #2142: Security sandbox violation: local SWF files
cannot use the LoaderContext.securityDomain property.
Does anyone have sample code that shows how to load a SWF
file using the Image control?
To be more specific you could us a SWFLoader. There are quite
a few things you'll have to take into consideration if you don't
want security warnings. if you are loading the swf from your local
drive you'll have to trust that folder. If it's loading from a
remote location the crossdomain.xml needs to be in place to allow
the swf to be loaded from there.
